1-Arden Singapore Sky Garden Rooftop Bar – How To Get Free Tickets

Over 50 floors above Singapore and offering one of the best (free) views of Singapore and Marina Bay Sands, 1-Arden is a new rooftop bar and ‘forest garden’.
If you plan in advance, you can secure free tickets to this superb Singapore rooftop garden or just rock up to the 1-Arden bar for dining and drinks.
Billed as the “World’s Highest Urban Food Forest”, 1-Arden should be high on your Singapore to do list.

How to get to 1-Arden in Singapore
The nearest Singapore MRT Station to 1-Arden is Raffles Place, located on the green East West Line and the Red North South Line – take Exit A and it is a 2 minute walk to the 1-Arden entrance.
Head to the CapitaSpring building and if you have a 1-Arden sky deck ticket, check it at reception and show it to a member of staff.
If you have a restaurant or bar reservation, head on up in the elevator and you will be greeted by a member of the restaurant staff.
Incidentally, the elevator entrance has a really cool LED wall which featured immersive and moving flowers when we visited – neat!

1-Arden Garden and Food Forest opening times
1-Arden has various opening times – if you just want to visit the Sky Garden on the 51st floor and the Green Oasis on levels 17 to 20 (both free), it is open Mondays – Fridays 8.30am – 10.30am, and 2.30pm – 6pm (excluding Public Holidays).
If you want to visit at the weekends or after 6pm, you must make a reservation at the 1-Arden Bar and Restaurant.
The 1-Arden bar is open Monday – Saturday from 11.30am to 10pm. It is closed on Sunday and on public holidays.

Before you arrive / booking a free 1-Arden Sky Garden ticket
Unlike other Singapore observation decks or rooftop bars, this is one Singapore sky deck that you can score free tickets for – but they are limited so you must book in advance and plan ahead.
To get your free 1-Arden tickets, click on the official 1-Arden reservations site here >
Click on the ‘reservation’ button on the top right hand corner, then the ‘Garden Admission’.
Finally, click on the ‘book now’ link at the bottom and choose your date / time to secure your free tickets.
Please note you must book free 1-Arden garden tickets around two weeks in advance of your trip – demand is high.
For instance, we visited on 25 September 2024 and we noticed the next available free admission ticket was 8 October 2024. So please plan in advance if you want to visit for free.
Alternatively you can usually buy 1-Arden bar tickets on the same day for $10 SGD which includes one soft drink – 1 Arden.

The world’s highest food forest
As well as incredible Singapore panoramic views and skyline vistas overlooking the harbor, a common site at 1-Arden garden is chefs picking ingredients and fresh herbs from the gardens.
1-Arden has one of the highest gardens in the world, over 280m above Singapore’s streets and over 10,000 square feet of plants, paths and vegetation – it reminds us of the Sky Garden in London.
The gardens have over 150 species of fruits, vegetables and herbs – guests are kindly asked to refrain from picking them as they are needed for the 1-Arden restaurants situated in the building below like Kaarla Grill, Sol & Luna Bistro and Oumi Japanese restaurant.
The gardens have 360 degree panoramic views and are multilevel, with various paths, ramps and steps between the various planting areas – each area of this Singapore rooftop garden has vistas looking out over the city.
From here you can see everywhere from the ships at sea to the colorful buildings and laneways of Singapore’s Chinatown, Little India and Arab Quarter.

Marina Bay Sands views
Many visitors to Singapore will instantly think of the Marina Bay Sands Skypark Observation Deck when considering Singapore’s best rooftop views and bars – but the advantage 1-Arden has over Marina Bay Sands is it is free if you book in advance (great for Singapore budget travel).
Better yet, from 1-Arden, you can actually see the incredible Marina Bay Sands building and Gardens By The Bay as part of your view – this really is the best rooftop view in Singapore and an amazing way to get an aerial view of Marina Bay Sands and Singapore’s coastline.
We visited in September 2024 a day after the Singapore Grand Prix and this rooftop garden offered excellent views of the Grand Prix circuit and route.

1-Arden Green Oasis
As well as the 1-Arden rooftop bar and sky gardens, your free entry ticket also includes access to the Green Oasis gardens on level 17 to 20.
Whilst not as spectacular as the 51st floor, this is still worth a quick visit if you have time, with various seating areas adorned with shrubbery and interesting design features.
It was also a lot quieter and more laid back in the 1 Arden Green Oasis area as less people visit – it seems to be the spot for office workers and Capita Spring employees to enjoy their lunches and snacks!

Other things to know
- When lightning flashes, you are requested to go indoors immediately and stop all outdoor activities
- Free toilets are available onsite
- The Sky Garden is the very top floor located on level 51
- Tickets for the 1-Arden bar admission are usually available on the same day for $10 SGD (including a soft drink) if you don’t secure free tickets in advance.
